About Perth Tri Club

We consider ourselves as a sociable crowd with regular (but not too many) meetings to disuss business, normally followed by a few liquid refreshments.  Some of us have jumped right in at the deep end with sights firmly set on Ironman competitions while others simply enjoy the fun of training or taking part in smaller events.  We are an ideal club for everyone I suppose, from very serious talented triathletes all the way to people looking for a fitness interest.

It's as fun or as serious as you want it to be.

Because of this you'll find that there is structured training opportunities most days but many dip in and out as to what suits them.

Most of us sign up for whatever events we feel we want to take part in, however, throughout 2010 there will be a number of events we will concentrate on as a club with as many members taking part as possible.

Of course there's no pressure on anyone !!!!!!!

Scarily we are even discussing a club trip to Switzerland in 2011 for ironman, half Ironman, and sprint events - wtach this space!

All in all this creates a focus for us as a club and a combined training schedule for some of the events.

The first ever Perth Tri Club event was NYD 2008

which was big success with more smiles and laughs than anyone could have expected

There is no doubt that 2008/2009 were learning years for everyone and there's a tonne of hope and confidence as we take on 2010
